Through porcelain, Florence develops a vocabulary of forms that seem to come from an indeterminate territory. Her work relies on the making process as a space of discovery: the pieces are built without a predetermined model and gradually reveal unexpected presences. She explores forms that resist identification and open a space of projection towards an elsewhere difficult to name.
Florence Denys Born in Belgium in 1975, Florence Denys studied graphic communication at the École de Recherche Graphique in Brussels, then sculpture at the Académie de Boitsfort.
